COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY: CCAC to host virtual job fairs for students and the wider community

Community College of Allegheny County issued the following announcement.

The Community College of Allegheny County will host virtual job fairs in October for students and job seekers. Representatives from many of the region’s employers will be on hand to discuss a variety of job opportunities, answer questions and provide information. Attendees may interact with employers, and they will be able to be seen by the representatives if using a camera. Preregistration is suggested but not required. 

The following virtual job fairs will be held: 

  • Healthcare, Education, Human Services & Nonprofit Virtual Job Fair

    Wednesday, October 14, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Attendees can preregister or drop in with this Zoom link: https://ccac.zoom.us/j/93612592947

  • Business, IT, Engineering & Trades Virtual Job Fair

    Wednesday, October 28, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Attendees can preregister or drop in with this Zoom link: https://ccac.zoom.us/j/97721674399

More than 50 employers from throughout the region will be in attendance, including: ACHIEVA, Allegheny Intermediate Unit, Amazon, Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, Bayada Home Health, Bayer, Blackbox, ChildCare Careers, Comfort Keepers, Connective Rx, Dedicated Nursing Associates, Dollar Bank, Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh, FedEx, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Vibrant Pittsburgh, WQED Multimedia and Zoll Cardiac Management Solutions. 

Additionally, CCAC will also participate in the WestPACS (Western PA Collegiate) Career and Graduate School Fair on October 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is one of the largest collegiate career fairs in the country. Students and jobseekers are required to register for this fair at www.westpacs.org.
