St. James Church issued the following announcement on Aug. 23.
Music Ministry Notes:
We had high hopes of beginning choir rehearsals at all three of our churches the first week of September, but the Delta variant has put a delay in our plans. Please watch for announcements about rehearsals as we monitor improvements in the transmission of the variant.
In the meantime, if you are interested in singing in a choir at one of our churches, please contact Jennifer Gorske, Director of Music Ministries: jgorske@stmarymagpgh.org .
As we wait for rehearsals to start, now would be a good time for singers to obtain or update their clearances. All singers over the age of 18 must have valid clearances through the Diocese to participate in choirs. Please email Melissa Viator at mviator@stmarymagpgh.org to check on what updates you might need or to begin the process.
