Genbusiness001

Limerick township recently issued the following announcement.

The Holy Family Parish Emergency Preparedness Committee is offering Fire Extinguisher training in two parts on 9/28 & 9/29, 2021 to parish ushers, staff and our parishioners. We still have open spots if you are interested in attending. Please confirm your attendance to Carlos Contreras by email ( jcarcon49@comcast.net) or call the Rectory NO LATER than September 24, 2021. Training sessions will be limited to 50 people. If we have more than fifty people registered, we will offer training for the first fifty people and then schedule another class in October for others who would like to attend.

The training is in two parts:

1. A 2-hour classroom presentation on Tuesday 9/28/21 at 6:30PM to 8:30PM in the Annex Building,

2. A hands-on practical exercise on Wednesday 9/29/21 at 7-8:30PM.

The hands on class will start in the Annex Building.

If Wednesday is a bad weather day the hands-on training will move to Thursday 9/30/21, weather permitting. Participants must attend both sessions to complete the training. During the hands-on portion of the training, ½ of the group will start with the hands-on practical exercise while the other ½ of the group will participate in a walk-thru of the scenarios in the parish emergency preparedness plan and a review of safety equipment in the church. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Carlos Contreras at 412-759-3473 or by email at jcarcon49@comcast.net.
