FOIA Request to Penn Hills Twp Non-uniformed Employee Pension Plan Regarding Pension Rosters on September 20, 2024.
In a move towards transparency and accountability, we at Southeast Allegheny News have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Penn Hills Twp Non-uniformed Employee Pension Plan. The request was made under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law, 65 §66.1 et seq., and it seeks comprehensive information about all active and retired employees in the organization's pension fund for the year of 2023.
The specific data fields requested include last name, first name, middle name, date of birth, employer name, employment start date, employment end date, salary, compensation type, amount received, year of receipt, process date of payment or contribution, last disbursement amount and frequency of disbursement. We also asked for information regarding the contribution amount for the year 2023.
