Versailles property owners recorded a 0.3% effective property tax rate on their homes in the fourth quarter of 2025—under 0.4 times the national average, as reported by BlockShopper.com.

The city’s median sales price for homes during Q4 2025 was $58,000, based on six reported transactions in that period. The local median tax bill for the same year was $200, amounting to 0.3% of the assessed median property value.

The nationwide average effective property tax rate reached 0.888% for 2024.

Within Allegheny County, Russellton and Elizabeth were ranked as the cities with the highest property tax rates.
